Last updated: 28th January 2024

1. Use your very own account

You must use your very own main account, which you use primarily. Every player should have the same awareness of the opponent they are playing against and not have a disadvantage. The prizes will be distributed only to the accounts which are participating in the tournament.

2. Banned on RiftQ or our Discord communities

To be eligible in our tournaments, you must be on the Discord server to which the tournament is dedicated. Being registered on a secondary Discord account while being banned on your primary will automatically lead to disqualification. In case you are banned, you can appeal here: Ban Appeal

3. Using exploits during the games

Do not use any game exploits or any 3rd party program that would affect the game in any way. If you happen to come across a bug/glitch during the game, inform your opponent it was unintentional and inform the tournament organizers if you find that necessary.

4. Sportsmanship

Players need to represent good sportsmanship at all times and follow the Summoner’s Code. Here are some additional rules:

  • Behave respectfully toward tournament organizers, sponsors, other players, viewers, and steer clear of any unsportsmanlike conduct during the event.
  • Bring any infractions (rule or policy) you notice to an organizer’s attention.
  • Bring any discrepancies in match record to an organizer’s attention immediately.
  • Have your primary Riot Games account geared up and ready to go.
  • Be familiar with whichever rules the organizer is using in the challenge information section.
  • Refrain from enrolling in challenges you’re not allowed to participate in.

5. Account Eligibility and Fair Play Criteria

To ensure a fair and competitive environment for all participants, we have established the following criteria to distinguish smurfs from regular players:

  • Botted Accounts: Use of botted accounts is strictly forbidden.
  • Winrate Limits: High winrates (70%+) over 30+ games
  • Winrates on Specific champions: Winrates (70%+) with 25+ games on specific champs.
  • Account Level & History: Low-level accounts (lower than Lvl 50) and those without ranked games in past seasons will be checked
  • Sudden Switches: Extreme winrate changes due to sudden champion or lane switches will be checked.
  • Ranked Experience: Close review for accounts with under 50 ranked games.

Passing in at least two of these criteria will lead to your account being judged by the organizers. We understand that implementing these rules might lead to certain participants being disqualified, but we want to assure you that these measures are essential to maintain a fair and competitive environment for everyone involved. In addition to any report that is sent to the organizers, the Top 10 Leaderboard will also be closely monitored.

6. Harassment & prohibited topics

Do not use any sexual words, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, or discriminatory names on your League of Legends accounts, team names, or Discord names. Doing so will lead to immediate disqualification. Please refrain from using them in any situation as well overall in the challenge.

7. Reports to Tournament Organizers

Report as quickly as possible and describe the situation and information required to understand the problem. Report an issue, that you do not agree on. Once you report to any organizer, you must provide evidence such as images, video, clips, or anything that could provide proof.
